Oh please, get off your PC high horse for a second and come back to reality. Yeah, no one should get beat up and bullied. I'd also love for the world to be filled with rainbows and unicorns all the time too. However, if I walk around drunk in a bad part of town flashing a suitcase full of cash, well I shouldn't be shocked that I get robbed. I know people don't like to take personal responsibility for their actions these days and everyone's ready to sue someone else because nothing is ever their fault. But most reasonable people should realize that being drunk in the ghetto as a transgendered guy isn't the brightest idea.

Actually, I'd call this bad news. It pretty much confirms that iP5 isn't coming any time soon.
I think the lack of a March/April iOS 5 preview pretty much confirmed that. No new OS, no new iPhone. If we get the preview in June at WWDC, that means we get new hardware in September, which is likely to be the launch date of iOS 5.
This again is based off of Apple always shipping a new OS with a new iPhone.

I saw and got my hands on a possible prototype IMac that had a touchable screen and a smug free screen. It also had the earlier uncoded virtual keyboard in the Lion OS. though it was only a prototype but a very realistic one for production. I believe it to be the IMac I and my father both got our hands on earlier this year.:apple:

Several reasons. It's very fast - Mannheim is about a year, and Dusseldorf about two. You can't raise invalidity of the patent as a defense. You have to very early in the case explain your theory of non-infringement, etc. The system works very differently than the U.S.

As cmaier said, the Court system works very different in Germany and the other german speaking countries such as Austria or Switzerland.
A lawsuit takes a very long time.
Also a precedent is not working the same as in the US here.

Also, the first MBA didn't have it, and they introduced it in the B revision. So they have been able to squeeze it in before where they weren't initially.
It would be a nice selling point for the upgraded model (as opposed to the base model), same as they did with the PowerBook for a while.

Its interesting to see Microsoft's strategy on this - I think its only a good thing that somebody is trying to look at the whole player/content ecosystem in the same way that Apple have...that competition can only be a good thing surely?
However...some of the comments do seem to suggest they already expect to be losing the battle though - surely if you really thought you could compete with iPod/iTunes you would be a little bolder? Makes it sound half-hearted, and thats a shame.

Glad to see another PC Gamer + Mac User on the forums. One day my friend, we could perhaps game on our Macs...one day:( *soft weeping
Well, actually we can. You can play CoD 4, Civ5, Sims 3, World of WarCraft, Diablo II, WarCraft III, ...
Of course, that's not the majority of games. I plan to install Windows on the iMac I will purchase next week (or hopefully tomorow. ;)) for some gaming. I love GTA IV, for example.
I think more and more games will come out for Mac from time to time.
Personally, I like the symbiosis of Windows software and OS-X. PowerPoint '11 beats Keynote and Word is just fine. Anyway. I will get my new iMac after I'm back from my Sweden trip next week. =)
